Electromagnetic Wave Scattering
Wave scattering by complex objects and random surfaces occurs widely in detection, imaging and remote sensing. A key difficulty throughout is the severe increase in computational cost with frequency, or scatterer size. With novel theoretical approaches and parallelisation on the CCHPCF the work is reaching the point at which solutions can be achieved for large problems at realistic conditions. |
