History of Cambridge Scouting

Many consider Scouting began with the camp on Brownsea Island organised by Robert Baden-Powell and the publication of "Scouting for Boys" the following year.
In March 1908 B-P addressed a meeting in Cambridge on the aims and methods of Scouting.
As a result of this meeting several Scout patrols formed across the city. Scouting had taken root in Cambridge!
